I just read on the Tassimo website that Starbucks varieties will be discontinued once existing supplies are sold out. This is rather disappointing since I chose Tassimo over Keurig largely because of the availability of Starbucks coffee. However, I love the taste of this Starbucks House Blend Coffee.

This is my absolute favorite K-Cup flavor. I don't like many of the coffees, as some of them are simply too strong or have a "burnt" flavor to me. This is a wonderful coffee that I add just a splash of "sweet cream" creamer to, and reminds me of dipping a coconut macaroon cookie into a cup of coffee.
For anyone complaining it isn't very strong, keep in mind it is not meant to be an intense or stronger brew. Expect a nice lightweight, easy to drink coffee. If you prefer the more intense brews, this one is probably not for you. However, I really love this Green Mountain Coffee for Keuring Brewers, Island Coconut.

My sister had bought a box of this flavor, and I was pretty skeptical. Coconut and coffee didn't seem like a natural mix for me. However, she gleefully described it as "liquid Samoas" and let me try a sip. Amazing! The aroma is tantalizing. I love coconut flavor right away and it really comes through in this coffee.

I immediately bought a box for brewing at the office, and she bought several more boxes as well. It's quickly become the favorite flavor of everyone in my family. It's sad that it's a limited edition, and we're hoping it becomes a normal flavor for year-round purchasing.

This was my first time ordering coffee from Amazon. After reading some reviews about the cups being less than satisfactory, I decided to try it anyway. This Best price Coffee People,Donut Shop coffee has a wonderful mild taste which we really enjoy, even without creamer. Package was not damaged and the cups in side were obviously the same. No puckering at the foil top which was a complaint from another reviewer. The cups brewed very nicely without "spillage". My only let down was that I got the free shipping and my package showed up two weeks later but only after I contacted Amazon. It had been sitting in MD for about a week. When I called, the customer service rep put me on hold while he spoke with the USPS and returned to tell me they would get it out for delivery the next day. Really?? If I had known that, I would have called days before. Over all I would certainly purchase these cups again but keep a tight eye on tracking my shipment.

Very Delicious coffee

I was at my sister's wedding the first time I tasted this coffee brand. It was so good my husband asked the caterer the name. I went online and was able to purchase it through this website. We are very happy with our purchase.


Our Preferred Coffee

This is our preferred coffee. We drink this daily. Strong but smooth and never bitter. We like this particular packaging since it gives us enough coffee for 3 to 4 weeks. So we can order it via Amazon Subscribe and Save. These bags are pretty large, so make sure you have some good air-tight containers to store the beans in once you've opened the packaging. One issue We have is that some of the time, the bags arrive without the vacuum seal intact. (Normally the beans will be vacuum-packed and you can see bumps in the packaging caused by the tight fit over the beans. Like in the picture. I have not noticed this detracting from the flavor though I expect it does somewhat.

I love this coffee. It makes GREAT espresso drinks, though I prefer lattes and capuccinos. Lavazza is one of the top brands in Italy (and elsewhere in Europe, having scene their product in other countries). I have also enjoyed Rosa and the pre-ground in the black can (for stovetop espresso percolators).

Some people reviewing this product appear to be uneducated about coffee, claiming this is NOT espresso, either because it doesn't say "espresso" on the bag or because it's not a dark roast. The truth is "espresso" refers to a process of making a coffee beverage, not the roast or the bean itself. A coffee bean is a coffee bean is a coffee bean. How you roast it, grind it, send water through it, serve it or drink it is up to you. Lavazza probably didn't put the word "espresso" on it for one of two reasons: 1) In Italy it's just assumed that if you're normal you're having espresso (probably straight); or 2) Lavazza knows that you may do whatever the heck you want with their beans as long as you keep buying them.

Great coffee. I love Lavazza Oro

Lavazza Oro is a great coffee. I love the caramel aroma when I first open the bag of beans. I don't usually drink straight espresso, so I can't comment on how Oro fares as a straight shot. It seems to make a really nice crema, though that is somewhat controlled by the grind and the machine. I have a super-automatic espresso machine, and its manufacturer actually recommends NOT using darker, oilier roasts because they may gum up the grinder or brewing apparatus. I've been drinking mainly plain lattes with this coffee, and I think they're phenomenal. I really miss it if I'm away from home and have to settle for an overpriced, burnt alternative from a mermaid of Seattle.


Good Beans Light Roast

I love that Amazon will ship me four bags of Lavazza Oro every month on subscribe and save, although I've noticed the price jumping up in the past few months. I hope the price stabilizes or drops back down. It's currently a real value compared to another Italian espresso giant that comes in silver cans. Those other guys make delicious coffee, but they're a little too pricey for me to justify buying regularly.

I am not claiming I am a coffee expert or anything but I do like a nice cup of espresso or an Americano in the morning. I use this bean with my Bialetti Brikka and I love the taste.

I took a chance to buy a 5 lb bag of Coffee Bean Direct Dark Brazilian, I hadn't heard of or tried before and I am not at all disappointed. I grind fresh for every brew and find this coffee to be plenty strong and flavorful. I can't tell you anything about good pairings or that it has a nutty aroma, but I can tell you that it makes for a tasty cup of coffee in the morning. A month and a half later this bag is nearly gone and I'm back to try another variety. I don't see myself buying coffee from anywhere else at least for the rest of this year.
